Transparency & Commercial Relationships

Advertising Disclosure

Trusted Mover Reviews is designed to help consumers research moving companies, compare publicly available information, and learn about moving services. This disclosure explains how advertising, commercial relationships, quote requests, sponsorships, affiliate arrangements, company affiliations, ratings, reviews, and editorial content may appear on the platform.

Last updated: August 28, 2026
The short version

Trusted Mover Reviews may receive compensation from moving companies, advertisers, marketing partners, lead buyers, service providers, or other commercial partners when a visitor clicks certain links, interacts with advertising, submits a quote request, places a tracked call, becomes a customer, or completes another qualifying action. A commercial relationship does not purchase a consumer review, guarantee a particular external star rating, permit suppression of legitimate negative reviews, or automatically entitle a company to favorable editorial treatment.

Important Material Relationship Disclosure

Some companies featured on this platform may have a material business or ownership relationship with Trusted Mover Reviews.

A material relationship can include common ownership or control, shared management, a financial interest, advertising, lead-generation arrangements, referral compensation, marketing relationships, or another commercial connection. When such a relationship exists and could affect how a reasonable consumer evaluates a recommendation, ranking, profile, or endorsement, the relationship should be disclosed clearly and prominently on or near the relevant content. Consumers should consider that relationship when evaluating editorial labels such as “Editor’s Choice,” “Preferred,” “Best,” or similar recommendations.

1. How Trusted Mover Reviews May Make Money

The platform may generate revenue through advertising, lead generation, referral arrangements, sponsorships, featured placements, affiliate relationships, tracked calls, quote-request submissions, service-provider relationships, or other commercial arrangements.

Compensation structures may include fixed advertising fees, cost-per-click, cost-per-lead, cost-per-call, cost-per-acquisition, referral fees, affiliate commissions, sponsorship fees, or other agreed compensation.

  • A company does not need to pay Trusted Mover Reviews simply to be researched, discussed, or listed.
  • The presence of a company on the site does not by itself mean that company is an advertiser or commercial partner.
  • The absence of a commercial relationship does not mean a company is necessarily better or worse than a company with a commercial relationship.

2. Quote Requests and Lead Generation

When a visitor submits a moving-quote request, Trusted Mover Reviews may route or provide the submitted information to one or more moving companies, moving-service providers, marketing partners, lead buyers, or other service providers that may be able to assist with the requested move.

Trusted Mover Reviews may receive compensation in connection with a quote request or resulting commercial relationship. A quote request is not necessarily sent to every company displayed on the page the visitor was viewing, and clicking “Get Quote,” “Compare Moving Options,” or similar language does not mean that the visitor is requesting a quote from every company shown on that page.

Contact by telephone, text message, or other method is governed by the consent language presented with the applicable quote-request form and by applicable law. Visitors should review that consent language before submitting a request.

3. Rankings, “Best” Lists, Editor’s Choice, and Preferred Labels

Trusted Mover Reviews may publish rankings, comparison lists, editorial scores, “Best” lists, “Editor’s Choice,” “Preferred,” “Recommended,” or similar designations. These labels reflect the platform’s editorial or comparative judgment based on the information and methodology available at the time.

A commercial relationship may exist with a company that also appears in ranked or recommended content. Where that relationship is material to how a reasonable consumer would evaluate the recommendation, the relationship should be disclosed on or near the relevant ranking, recommendation, or company card.

No ranking, recommendation, badge, label, star score, or company profile is a guarantee of service quality, pricing, availability, licensing status, delivery performance, safety, claims handling, or any particular moving experience.

4. Sponsored Content and Paid Placements

Content or placements that are advertising in nature should be identified in a manner reasonably understandable to consumers. Depending on the context, labels may include “Ad,” “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” “Sponsored Content,” “Paid Placement,” “Advertising Partner,” or another plain-language disclosure that clearly communicates the commercial nature of the content.

Labels such as “Featured,” “Preferred,” or “Promoted” are not intended to substitute for a required advertising disclosure when a clearer disclosure is necessary to avoid misleading consumers.

Advertising Partner Commercial relationship

Use near a company card when compensation or another commercial relationship is material.

Sponsored Paid content or placement

Use where a company paid for the specific placement or promotional content.

Affiliated Company Ownership or control relationship

Use when a company has common ownership, control, management, or another material affiliation.

5. Company Affiliations and Ownership Relationships

Trusted Mover Reviews does not intend to imply that every company profile, ranking, comparison, or editorial opinion is independent of every business relationship connected to the platform.

If Trusted Mover Reviews, its owners, operators, managers, affiliates, or related businesses have a material ownership, control, management, financial, referral, or other business relationship with a company being reviewed or recommended, that relationship may affect the weight a reasonable consumer gives the content and therefore should be disclosed clearly and conspicuously where relevant.

A disclosure on this page is intended to provide additional platform-wide context. It is not intended to replace a more specific disclosure placed near content where a material relationship is especially relevant.

6. External Ratings, Reviews, and Third-Party Information

Trusted Mover Reviews may display or summarize ratings, review counts, complaint information, registration information, or other data obtained from third-party websites, government sources, consumer platforms, or company records.

When a rating is attributed to a third-party platform, the rating belongs to that source and is not represented as a Trusted Mover Reviews consumer rating unless expressly stated. Third-party ratings and review counts can change after publication.

References to third-party businesses, trademarks, review platforms, or government databases do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless specifically disclosed.

7. Consumer Reviews and Review Integrity

Trusted Mover Reviews may host, solicit, display, summarize, or reference consumer reviews. The platform’s policy is not to create fake consumer reviews, purchase reviews that are required to express a particular positive or negative sentiment, or suppress legitimate negative reviews merely because a reviewed business objects to them.

Reviews may be moderated or removed for reasons such as fraud, spam, impersonation, duplicate submissions, threats, harassment, unlawful content, private information, irrelevant content, or other violations of published review guidelines. Moderation standards should be applied without favoring positive sentiment over negative sentiment.

If an incentive is ever offered for submitting a review, the incentive should not depend on the review being positive, and any material incentive or relationship should be disclosed as required.

8. Affiliate and Referral Links

Some links may be affiliate, referral, or otherwise compensated links. Trusted Mover Reviews may receive compensation if a visitor clicks such a link, requests service, makes a purchase, or completes another qualifying action.

When the commercial nature of a link or recommendation is not otherwise obvious, a disclosure should appear close enough to the link or recommendation for a reasonable consumer to understand the relationship before acting on it.

9. Advertisers Do Not Control Consumer Submissions

Paying for advertising or lead-generation services does not give an advertiser the contractual right to rewrite a consumer’s review, require removal of a legitimate negative review, or require Trusted Mover Reviews to present a false consumer rating.

Businesses may provide factual corrections, responses, supporting records, or requests for investigation. Trusted Mover Reviews may review those submissions and make corrections when appropriate, but commercial status alone is not a basis for changing factual or consumer-review content.

10. No Guarantee or Professional Advice

Trusted Mover Reviews is an informational research and review platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Trusted Mover Reviews is not the moving carrier performing a consumer’s move and does not guarantee the acts, omissions, pricing, licensing, insurance, pickup, transportation, delivery, claims handling, or performance of any third-party company.

Consumers should independently verify important company information, written estimates, contracts, licensing or registration status, insurance, service terms, cancellation rights, and other details before hiring a moving company.

Nothing on this page is legal advice to visitors or businesses. Additional limitations, rights, and obligations may appear in the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Review Guidelines, Editorial Policy, and other applicable site policies.

11. Corrections, Questions, and Commercial Inquiries

If you believe a commercial relationship, sponsored placement, company affiliation, rating source, or other material fact has not been disclosed accurately, you may contact Trusted Mover Reviews and request review of the issue.

A request for correction does not guarantee that content will be changed. Trusted Mover Reviews may request documentation sufficient to evaluate the requested correction.

This disclosure is part of a broader transparency framework.

Material disclosures should be placed where consumers are likely to see and understand them before making a decision. For that reason, Trusted Mover Reviews may also place shorter advertising, sponsorship, ownership, affiliation, referral, or lead-generation disclosures directly on comparison pages, company cards, editorial recommendations, quote-request interfaces, or other relevant content. See also our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Editorial Policy, and Review Guidelines.
